My name is Logan Sandve and I am a furniture maker. I've been tinkering, building, and seeking to understand the way things go together since I was a kid. I started making things out of wood for a living almost 10 years ago and I've loved it ever since.Doing this work feels like it was inevitable. My grandfather built his first cedar strip canoe in his garage in the 1970's. My father did the same when he grew up, amongst rebuilding our entire home and running endless side projects for friends. It didn't take long into my 20's to take a furniture making apprenticeship and begin building my own path.Since then, I've done everything from refurbishing face-frame kitchens on a budget to building brand-new millwork with a blank cheque. My favorite work lands somewhere in between - making beautiful things that last for real people who really care about the details. Our relationship centres around trust and respect; you valuing my voice and expertise as a craftsperson, and me honouring the commitment of your money and the space in your home. This relationship is one of the reasons you can use my nickname, like a friend would, and call me Logie.

This website has images of just a few of the pieces I've built over the years. The scope of my work has ranged from carving sugar spoons to building the furniture that fills a whole house. I am capable with the estimating, planning, designing, and executing of any size of joinery project. If we work together, you can expect open communication and a passion for making something the best that it can be in form and function. I'm looking forward to it.If you would like to work together, you can reach me through the email link at the top of this page. You can also find out more information about me professionally on my LinkedIn.
